Magnus Resch, Ph.D., is one of the world’s leading art market experts (CNN). He is a bestselling book author, university professor, and serial entrepreneur. He founded Gymondo.de (exit), Magnusclass.com, Larryslist.com, and Magnus.net, the “Shazam for art.” Magnus lectures at Yale University, has published in Science, and written eight books on the art market. Magnus holds a Ph.D. in economics having studied at Harvard, LSE, and University of St. Gallen. His career highlights have featured in a Harvard Business School case study and across various titles, including the New York Times, WSJ, Vanity Fair, and the Financial Times.
Jenn Ellis FRSA is a curator and founder based in London, originally from Switzerland, Colombia, and the UK, with five years of experience in Hong Kong. As the founder of curatorial studio APSARA, she has led projects globally, including institutional collaborations with Silverlens, Tate, and South London Gallery. She is also the co-founder of AORA, a platform that integrates art, architecture, and music to promote wellbeing. Recognized in publications like Artforum and Frieze, Ellis guest lectures at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, serves as a Tate Young Patrons Ambassador, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Katy Wickremesinghe is a British-Sri Lankan entrepreneur and founder of The Wick – a global consultancy and content platform building cultural capital for individuals and businesses. Specialising in the art ecosystem and global luxury alongside platforming new talent and cultural leaders, The Wick has become a key resource for navigating the complex art market. A committed cultural advocate, Katy serves as a Trustee for the Royal Academy of Arts, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and Dulwich Picture Gallery. She is a collector, patron, and regular speaker on diversifying the art world, new techniques, and technologies to forge new audiences to make it more accessible. A regular moderator – she has led discussions and spoken at Walpole, Sotheby’s, London Tech Club & Times Radio.
Tim Schneider is the founder of the Gray Market, the conversation-starting art-industry newsletter, and a private consultant for artists and businesses in the cultural field. Following nearly a decade working in the commercial gallery sector, he spent a combined seven years as the art market editor for The Art Newspaper and the art business editor for Artnet News. His work assesses the art trade through the lenses of economics, technology, data analysis, law, and adjacent markets such as film, music, and fashion. His past speaking engagements range from Art Basel’s Conversations series and the Talking Galleries symposium to lectures at Yale University and the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. In 2017 he published his first book, The Great Reframing: How Technology Will—and Won’t—Change the Gallery System Forever.
Simon Oldfield is a prominent art advisor, curator, and lawyer known for his expertise in the intersection of art, law, and business. He has built lasting relationships with global art collectors and collaborates with major institutions like the Royal Academy of Arts on curatorial projects. A trusted consultant for high-profile clients, Simon is recognized for his strategic approach and results-driven methods. He is also a sought-after public speaker, co-founder of the art and literature organisation Pindrop, and has contributed to renowned publications while serving on various award judging panels. He is also a public speaker, sharing insights at venues such as the Vatican and Art Basel.
Annabel Keenan is a New York-based writer specializing in contemporary art and sustainability. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Financial Times, and The Art Newspaper, among others, and she is the author of an upcoming book on climate action in the art world, to be published in association with Lund Humphries and Sotheby's Institute of Art in May 2025. Through her writing, Annabel engages readers with pressing issues in the art community while advocating for environmentally conscious practices in the industry.
Megan Leckie is an independent Development Advisor and Engagement Strategist, focusing on helping galleries, organisations and institutions connect with collector and patron audiences worldwide. With 18 years in the art and culture sector, she has developed an extensive international network. Most recently, Megan was Global Director of VIP Relations for Frieze Fairs. Previously, Megan was the Regional Head of VIP Relations Asia at Art Basel and before that Director of Pearl Lam Galleries. Megan has lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and London.
Tom Marks is a content and communications strategist at Marks|Calil, bringing extensive expertise in positioning and profile-building within the international art and museum sectors. With a deep passion for historical and contemporary art, he believes strongly in their public value. Previously, Tom served as the Editor of Apollo, where he significantly expanded the magazine's reach by launching an online platform for daily content, establishing the Apollo 40 Under 40 initiative to celebrate innovation in the arts. Under his leadership, the annual Apollo Awards became a global benchmark for excellence, reflecting his commitment to advancing the art and museum sectors.
Katey Acquaro is Director of Silverlens New York, which she helped launch in 2022 when the Manila-based gallery expanded to the U.S., becoming the first gallery from Southeast Asia to open an outpost in New York City. Over its 20 years of operation in the Philippines, Silverlens has earned recognition as a leading contemporary art gallery in Southeast Asia. In her role at Silverlens New York, Acquaro plays a key part in building a U.S. market and institutional presence for the gallery’s roster of Southeast Asian, Asia Pacific, and diasporic artists, positioning practices within the larger framework of contemporary art. Previously, Acquaro served as a Partner and Director of Production at Independent Art Fair, where she spent five years working closely with hundreds of leading international galleries and institutions.
Since taking on the role of President in 2020, Olney has guided Kasmin through a period of significant succession and expansion. Directing over 40 artists and estates across two Chelsea locations, Olney oversees the full scope of the gallery’s activities including exhibitions, art fairs, offsite programming, and publishing. In 2023, he co-founded Meridiano, an experimental arts space on the Oaxacan coast in Mexico, with Boris Vervoordt, which has featured solo exhibitions by Joel Shapiro, Kimsooja, and Gabriel Chaile. Active in the art community, he serves on the American Art Dealer’s Association board and co-founded the Bartlett H. Hayes Jr Prize in 2022. His background in perception and symbolic communication informs his distinctive approach to contemporary art.
Jasmin Tsou is a director at Lisson Gallery in New York. Prior to being a director, she was the owner of the New York-based gallery JTT, which was established in 2012 and concluded in 2023. Throughout its 11-year tenure, JTT hosted over 83 shows, including solo exhibitions with Elaine Cameron-Weir, James Yaya Hough, King Cobra, Sable Elyse Smith and Marlon Mullen among others.
An art world veteran with an M.A. in Arts Management and Policy, Mumford has dedicated her career to supporting creative enterprises and enhancing industry standards. After successfully managing a London gallery from 2006 to 2011, she founded the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD) in 2009, which has grown into a global network. Her commitment to fostering professional growth led to a decade-long initiative focused on providing development resources for micro businesses. In 2018, she co-founded ArtAML™, a company that delivers tech-driven anti-money laundering solutions tailored specifically to the compliance needs of the art market, solidifying her role as a key figure in AML for the art industry.
Rena is a qualified lawyer and art market AML specialist. She enjoyed a 30-year career at Sotheby's becoming their first Global Compliance Director, having previously served as their European General Counsel and Global Head of Litigation. She benefits from a unique combination of art world and international legal experience. Leading the FCS Compliance Art Division, Rena assists many Art Market Practitioners providing them with the practical information and tools they need to ensure they and their firms are meeting the legal AML compliance obligations.
Since joining Artsy in 2020, Andrew Boos has worked across the company to create and enforce security standards that ensure Artsy remains a trusted, frictionless environment for collectors and galleries alike. As Senior Director of Marketplace Strategy and Operations, Andrew collaborates with galleries, collectors, and internal teams to build the safest marketplace for buying and selling fine art globally. In addition to protecting Artsy partners and collectors from fraud and spam, Andrew’s team is responsible for delivering an exceptional user experience throughout the entire buying and selling process.Outside of his work at Artsy, Andrew is also an artist and designer. Margot Samel opened in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood in May 2022. Building on Samel’s 15-year career in the art world — beginning in her home country Estonia before moving to Glasgow, Scotland, and then settling in New York in 2015, the gallery’s program presents research-driven exhibitions by artists of international backgrounds in all stages of their careers, A key area of focus is historic and contemporary artists from the Baltic region; beginning with the gallery’s inaugural exhibition of new and site-specific works by Estonian multidisciplinary artist Kris Lemsalu (b. 1985 Tallinn, Estonia). In 2010, she founded Gazelli Art House in London, expanding from its original Baku location, and showcasing a diverse array of international artists such as Aziz+Cucher, Harold Cohen, Jann Haworth, and Derek Boshier. In 2015, she launched GAZELL.iO, a digital platform for online residencies, marketplace, and exhibitions, along with the GAZELL.iO VR Library. Additionally, she has led the Window Project since 2012, supporting recent graduates through open call competitions in partnership with institutions like Central Saint Martins.
Since founding Addis Fine Art in 2016, Rakeb Sile has grown the gallery from a small Addis Ababa based start-up to a globally recognised enterprise. Addis Fine Art specialises in modern and contemporary art from the Horn of Africa region and its diasporas. Along with Co-Founder Mesai Haileleul, Rakeb started the gallery to connect Ethiopian artists to the world and to spotlight underrepresented talent from the area. Described as one of the ‘Most Important Young Galleries in the World’ (Artsy 2019) and the ‘Ethiopian Gallery Enriching a Global Art Conversation’ (New York Times 2019), Addis Fine Art has become one of the leading galleries from Africa, facilitating critical engagement between the local ecosystem and global art market. Rakeb is the recipient of the Apollo '40 Under 40′ Business Award, as one of the most talented and inspirational young people fostering positive change in today’s art world. In September, Addis Fine Art closed its permanent gallery space in Fitzrovia in order to refocus efforts on developing sustainable ecosystems on the continent while also expanding its global programme through fairs and collaborations.

He then went on to build a high-end design marketplace, where he gained first-hand experience of the inefficiencies in shipping highly fragile and valuable works. Edouard holds degrees from Bocconi University and IE Business School. Cliodhna is instrumental in developing and implementing the gallery’s climate action plan and commitment to halve the gallery’s carbon emissions by 2030. With over 20 years’ experience in the art world, Murphy has worked in project management and operations roles for a number of galleries and organisations, including Frieze Fairs and Tate. Murphy joined Hauser & Wirth in 2017 as Director of Operations based in London and, as part of that role, led the gallery’s carbon footprint calculation initiative. Murphy has written on Science Based Target Initiative for the GCC (Gallery Climate Coalition) here and has recently joined Murmur’s, ‘Change the Industry’ advisory group. Cliodhna is the author of Sea Freight: Unlocking the Potential for International Art Transportation and Climate Action Tips.
Haley is an artist focusing on painting and land conservation. Her work is observational and done in a seasonal studio outdoors. The paintings are made from gouache – a water-based material; the drawings are made from charcoal – a plant-based carbon. Recent solo shows include Dittrich & Schlechtriem, Berlin (2024); Giovanni's Room, Los Angeles (2023); and The Journal Gallery, New York (2022). Mellin is the founder of Art into Acres, an artist-run, non-profit initiative organized to support permanent large-scale land conservation on behalf of the arts community. The initiative has supported a range of new permanent protected areas including new Indigenous protected areas, community-conserved areas, municipal parks, regional parks, and national parks. Haley conducted the first carbon calculations for a range of museums and galleries supported by grants from the Teiger Foundation, and co-founded art and climate initiatives PACT, Art and Climate Action, MOCA EC, GCC LA, GCC NY, Artists Commit and Conserve.
At 21, Marine became Europe's youngest gallery manager at Steve Lazarides' gallery, working with the discoverer of Banksy. By 23, she launched her first art venture, De Re Gallery, in Los Angeles, attracting prominent collectors like Demi Moore. Inspired to create the first talent agency for artists, she founded MTArt Agency in London in 2015, a Certified B Corporation that now represents innovative artists globally, partnering with brands like Apple and the World Cup, and expanding into the US and Middle East. Recognized in Forbes' 30 Under 30 and awarded multiple entrepreneurship accolades, Marine is a passionate advocate for integrating art into everyday life and has published work on public art, visual literacy, and the impact of social media on visual culture.
Mary-Alice Stack is Chief Executive of Creative United, an entrepreneurial community interest company with a focus on achieving social impacts and economic growth and in the arts, cultural and creative industries. Prior to the establishment of Creative United in 2012, she was responsible for the development of the Own Art scheme at Arts Council England. Now operated by Creative United, Mary-Alice has overseen the successful evolution and growth of the Own Art scheme for the past 20 years. During this time, the scheme has facilitated more than £79m worth of contemporary art and craft sales, supporting many thousands of artists, galleries and customers across the UK.
Martha is the inaugural Director of Paul Smith’s Foundation. Appointed to take the helm on programming, strategy, governance, and fundraising, working closely with founder, Sir Paul Smith. Previously, Martha was at Sarabande Foundation, established by Lee Alexander McQueen, where she worked from its inception to serving as Head of Operations & Artist Relations. Martha also served as General Manager at The Wick, working to launch the content and cultural partnerships platform as well as delivering events, exhibitions, programming, and patron development for clients including Claridge’s ArtSpace and The Design Museum.
Matthew McLean is the Creative Director of Frieze Studios. Joining Frieze in 2012, has led on creative ideation and execution of collaborative content and activations with brands and institutions including Ami, Breguet, Casetify, CHANEL, Deutsche Bank, Dunhill, The Getty, Gucci, Jo Malone London, LG Oled, MOCA, PepsiCo, Poiret, Prada, Sloane Street, Stone Island and Sotheby’s International Realty. In 2016-17 he was Co-Curator of Frieze Talks with Lydia Lee, and since 2016 has been Editor of Frieze Week magazine. He has contributed writing to numerous international art and lifestyle publications and artists publications, and given talks at organisations including the ICA, London, IKON, Birmingham and Talking Galleries New York. He holds masters degrees from the University of Oxford and the Courtauld Institute of Art. He lives in London, UK.
Sherry is a Cultural Broker and Placemaking Advisor based in London, leading SRD Culture Ltd., which provides strategic guidance for cultural infrastructure and programming in urban development, integrating commercial, civic, and philanthropic investments. With over 35 years of experience in the creative industries, she bridges cultural organizations and real estate through a placemaking approach that fosters urban revitalization and cultural production for social and economic success. Sherry has worked on major projects globally, including as Partner and Cultural Director at Futurecity Ltd. (2017-2022) and Director of Times Square Arts, where she founded the Midnight Moment digital art exhibition.
Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Basma is a leading figure in the art world and a prominent collector and patron in the Middle East. In 2011, she founded BASMOCA, the world’s first virtual museum, showcasing her collection through advanced visual technology. As a founding member of the Saudi Art Council, Basma initiated projects like the Jeddah Sculpture Park and was the first Saudi woman recognized for her contributions to the arts in 2014. Her collection spans global and Middle Eastern contemporary art, emphasizing Saudi artists to foster cultural connections. Basma has shared her collection internationally, with highlights presented at the Institut du Monde Arabe and the “What Lies Within” exhibition in AlUla. Her works have been loaned to global museums and donated to institutions such as the Met, Smithsonian, and British Museum, with her collection dedicated in part to honoring her late son, Mohammed Juffali. She holds a BA in English Literature and a diploma in Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s.
Catherine Petitgas is a London-based collector, patron and art historian specialising in modern and contemporary art mostly from Latin America. She is currently Chair of the international residencies programme Gasworks Triangle Arts Trust in London, Trustee of the Liverpool Biennial and founding member of Latin American Acquisitions Committees in London, New York and Paris. She has edited several books on the art scene of the region. She heads an artist-lead project for emerging artists in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico.
Adam M. Levine is the Edward Drummond and Florence Scott Libbey President, Director, and CEO of the Toledo Museum of Art (TMA), a position he has held since 2020. A scholar of ancient art, Levine joined TMA in 2012 as an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow, later becoming Deputy Director and Curator of Ancient Art. He previously served as CEO of the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. A Rhodes Scholar with degrees from Dartmouth and Oxford, Levine co-founded Art Research Technologies and has published extensively on art and museum practices.
Clare has led the organization since 2022 and was Director of Programme previously. Throughout her career, Clare has been committed to engaging diverse audiences in exceptional and meaningful art; to contributing to the wider community and economy; and to building a relevant and sustainable institution. She has a particular expertise in developing and siting sculpture in the public realm and has curated a number of internationally recognised exhibitions by artists that include Ai Weiwei, Fiona Banner, Robert Indiana, Amar Kanwar, KAWS, Bharti Kher, Kimsooja, Alfredo Jaar, Shirin Neshat, Heather Peak & Ivan Morison, Giuseppe Penone, Thomas J Price, Yinka Shonibare CBE, David Smith, James Turrell, Joana Vasconcelos, Bill Viola and Erwin Wurm. Clare selected the annual Frieze Sculpture in London’s Regent’s Park 2012-22. She sat on the advisory committee of the Government Art Collection, London 2015-23 and currently is an advisor to the Yinka Shonibare Foundation, Lagos and a Trustee of the George Rickey Foundation, New York and Jupiter Artland Foundation, Edinburgh.
Amrita Jhaveri has been working in the field of Modern and Contemporary Indian art since 1993. Having established Christie’s presence in India in the mid-1990s, she moved to London in 2000 and began to build her private collection of art from which she has loaned to museums worldwide. She has worked as an independent advisor, creating and managing private and corporate art collections; ambitious artist’s projects and large-scale commissions. In 2010, she established Jhaveri Contemporary, a gallery of Modern and Contemporary art, in Mumbai. Her research interests have resulted in exhibitions such as Thinking Tantra and South Asian Modernists, 1953- 63, and she is the author of 101: A Guide to 101 Modern and Contemporary Indian Artists.
Carrie Scott is an American/English curator, art historian, and TV presenter based in London. Over the past two decades, she has worked globally with galleries, artists, and collectors. She began her career as curator of the Hedreen Gallery at Seattle University, later becoming Director of the James Harris Gallery and Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York. In 2009, she launched Carrie Scott & Partners, collaborating with artists like John Pawson and Walter & Zoniel. She has curated exhibitions worldwide, including in South Korea, Japan, London, and New York, and spent a decade working with Nick Knight’s archive. In 2024, she founded Seen, a platform promoting emerging artists and transparency.
Ekow Eshun is a writer and curator. He is Chairman of the Fourth Plinth, overseeing Britain’s foremost public art programme, and the former Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. Described by Vogue as “the most inspired - and inspiring - curator in Britain”, he has staged acclaimed exhibitions internationally and is a contributor to publications including Vogue, the New York Times, Financial Times and the Guardian. He has created documentaries for BBC TV and radio and is the author of books including Black Gold of the Sun, shortlisted for the Orwell prize, and The Strangers, which is out now.
